Saint Laurent seeks an experienced Store Director in New York to lead retail team and drive luxury brand sales with comprehensive benefits package.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of dynamic sales professionals with coaching and development approach
- Promote brand engagement and customer loyalty to achieve business objectives
- Establish and monitor quantitative and qualitative sales targets; analyze daily, weekly, and monthly performance data
- Demonstrate active sales leadership through hands-on participation on the selling floor
- Manage inventory activities in collaboration with back-office operations, ensuring optimal stock levels
- Ensure compliance with legal, safety, internal, sustainability, and HR requirements
- Maintain brand qualitative standards and visual merchandising excellence
- Conduct staff performance assessments and establish KPIs for continuous improvement
- Identify, attract, recruit, develop, and retain top retail talent
- Foster a cultivating store culture aligned with headquarters directives
Qualifications
- 4 to 6 years of successful experience in a managerial retail position
- Proven experience managing a team of at least 10 employees
- Significant experience in the sale of luxury goods or high-end retail
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Knowledge of Concur expense reporting is a plus
- Demonstrated adaptability, openness, and willingness to take calculated risks
- Strong listening abilities and curiosity

4 to 6 years of successful managerial-level retail experience, with demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams of 10 or more employees in a luxury goods environment. Candidates should possess a strong background in retail operations, sales performance optimization, and brand representation.
