Saint Laurent seeks a Store Director for its Kunming boutique to lead retail operations, manage VIP client relationships, and drive sales performance.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead sales team on the selling floor with a focus on VIP/VIC relationship management and customer satisfaction
  • Develop and implement action plans to achieve sales targets and P&L objectives; monitor KPIs on daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly bases
  • Provide high-quality feedback and reports to headquarters; communicate local market intelligence and competitive activity to Head of Retail
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent in partnership with HR; create and maintain a positive, motivating work environment
  • Coach staff and conduct performance appraisals; ensure professional development and continuous training aligned with fashion industry trends
  • Oversee clienteling approach and ensure brand qualitative standards are maintained internally and externally
  • Manage store atmosphere, windows, and layout according to visual merchandising guidelines; ensure compliance with brand image and service standards
  • Handle administrative and accounting responsibilities; organize activities and manage available resources to handle expected workload
  • Supervise warehouse stock inventory and coordinate stock management with Back Office Operations; ensure product safety and security
  • Monitor local business environment, market trends, and competitive activity; keep staff informed and aligned with brand positioning

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of successful experience in a managerial position managing a team of approximately 10 people
  • Significant experience in the sale of luxury goods or retail sector
  • High sensitivity to customer experience and loyalty
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and persuasiveness
  • Advanced precision and organizational abilities
  • Proficiency in computer skills including Word and Excel
