Saint Laurent seeks a Store Director in Hamburg to lead boutique sales, P&L, team development and client relationships.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive sales, profitability and P&L targets by implementing strategic action plans and monitoring quantitative and qualitative KPIs.
- Lead by example on the sales floor through active client engagement, relationship building with top clients, and visible sales leadership.
- Recruit, develop and retain talent; provide continuous coaching, training and succession planning to strengthen team performance and career progression.
- Oversee all store operations and processes, ensuring compliance with legal, safety and corporate procedures and delivering operational efficiency improvements.
- Manage inventory and stockroom operations in partnership with Back Office and Merchandising to optimise stock levels and accuracy.
- Provide regular business analysis, market feedback and operational recommendations to Retail leadership and Headquarters.
- Maintain the store environment, team presentation and client experience to consistently reflect Saint Laurent’s image and service standards.
- Handle sensitive client situations and complaints with discretion and a solution-oriented approach; build and maintain a strong local and international client network.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of successful experience in a managerial role within luxury retail or high-end fashion.
- Proven track record in driving sales and managing P&L in a boutique or store environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and persuasive skills with a high sensitivity to customer experience, engagement and loyalty.
- Strong organisational attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple operational priorities.
- Fluency with standard office tools and ability to produce business reports and analyses (see skills).
Skills
Experience
3–5 years in a managerial retail role with significant experience selling luxury goods or working in an upscale retail environment; demonstrable success in team leadership, sales performance and operational management.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, retail management or related discipline preferred; equivalent professional experience in luxury retail will be considered.
