Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation and visual standards of the stockroom and salesfloor in accordance with company guidelines.
- Receive, inspect and process inbound deliveries; manage weekly shipping & receiving operations.
- Communicate shipment discrepancies and inventory variances promptly to the Store Director and Operations partners.
- Execute internal product transfers and process client orders to meet service expectations and timelines.
- Prepare and conduct weekly cycle counts and support annual physical inventory preparations.
- Liaise with the Operations team to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, corrections and adjustments.
- Manage supply orders from internal and external vendors to ensure boutique readiness.
- Provide salesfloor support as required for coverage and client service; perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of retail experience; luxury or contemporary retail preferred.
- Proven experience with shipping/receiving processes, inventory management and inventory audits.
- Strong organisational aptitude and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel for inventory tracking and reporting.
- Proactive, team‑oriented attitude with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds safely.
Skills
Experience
Minimum two years of retail experience, ideally within luxury or contemporary fashion; demonstrable experience in stockroom operations, inventory control and shipping/receiving.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or retail certifications preferred.
