Saint Laurent seeks a Standardization Officer for Ready-to-Wear in Paris; luxury fit and quality control expertise required.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct standardization fittings through production sign-off on cabin mannequins, evaluating drape, ease, comfort, and proportions
  • Execute quality control and compliance verification of prototypes and production counter-samples against technical specifications
  • Analyze volumes, proportions, and structural balance of patterns and finished garments, ensuring consistency across product families
  • Formalize technical comments and production decisions during fittings; track corrections through final validation
  • Compile and maintain technical dossiers and measurement standards; update grading scales and measurement protocols
  • Collaborate closely with Product Development and Production teams; serve as primary liaison with manufacturers and technical subcontractors
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within standardization and product refinement processes

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Pattern Making, Fashion Technology, or equivalent discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in standardization, pattern making, industrialization, or product development
  • Demonstrated expertise with woven and knit garment construction and pattern reading
  • Mastery of garment fit standards and grading methodologies
  • Proficiency with PLM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proven experience in luxury or premium ready-to-wear sectors
