Saint Laurent seeks Senior Product Development Manager in Paris to oversee finished men's product development and PLM coordination.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee collection development, prototype validation, and industrial launches by managing relationships with manufacturers and fabric suppliers
- Attend fittings, document outcomes, and coordinate product refinements to specifications
- Orchestrate press and commercial presentation runs while adhering to schedules and quality standards
- Ensure accurate referencing and input of materials and nomenclatures into the PLM system within established timelines to facilitate cost and technical reviews
- Maintain PLM data integrity and currency throughout the entire development process until normalisation
- Prepare comprehensive technical dossiers and facilitate seamless handoff of collections to production
- Monitor purchase orders and invoicing processes
- Track and control inventory of raw materials and supplies
Qualifications
- 7 to 10 years of professional experience in finished product development within men's ready-to-wear
- Expert knowledge of assembly techniques, materials, washing processes, and finishing treatments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Familiarity with PLM software systems or comparable product lifecycle management tools
- Fluent English; Italian proficiency a strong advantage
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and stakeholder relationships
