Role & Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic HR business partner to Saint Laurent retail boutiques, supporting priority initiatives through targeted HR interventions and regular engagement with store management
  • Conduct weekly catch-ups with boutique managers and foster collaborative relationships across the scope to provide consistent HR guidance and support
  • Support boutique openings, closures, and other operational changes in partnership with the Western Europe leadership team
  • Maintain employee accessibility and proximity across the retail network, ensuring open channels for dialogue and employee concerns
  • Cascade HR roadmap initiatives across the retail footprint, translating company policies and decisions into on-the-ground implementation and change management
  • Ensure legal and administrative compliance across French and Dutch employment frameworks, managing regulatory requirements and documentation
  • Develop middle management capabilities in performance management practices and accountability
  • Maintain rigorous performance standards and analytics, proposing targeted HR interventions to optimize productivity
  • Lead customized action plans in collaboration with store managers to address performance gaps and opportunities
  • Monitor and track productivity indicators, implementing appropriate interventions as needed
  • Champion internal mobility by identifying talent, advising on advancement opportunities, and supporting succession planning initiatives
  • Ensure alignment between resource availability and operational needs through workforce planning and analysis
  • Direct recruitment initiatives—both internal and external—based on identified staffing requirements
  • Manage post-hire integration processes, including probationary period oversight and onboarding support
  • Oversee external service providers on HR-related engagements
  • Validate compensation proposals against market benchmarks and internal equity studies
  • Foster social dialogue and fluid employee relations across the retail network
  • Intervene in disciplinary situations and case management with legal and procedural rigor
  • Lead ad hoc HR projects aligned with business needs and leveraging partner expertise

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in an HRBP function
  • Demonstrable expertise in retail sector operations and dynamics
  • Business-focused mindset with ability to translate HR strategy into commercial outcomes
  • Proficiency in navigating complex situations independently with adaptability and sound judgment
  • Strong interpersonal skills, discretion, and confidentiality
  • Fluent in both English and French (required)
