Saint Laurent seeks Senior Business Performance Analyst in Paris. Lead strategic data analysis, forecasting, and AI integration for luxury brand. CDI role.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Construct and maintain projection and forecasting models (inventory, revenue, KPIs) and associated dashboards; analyse variance between actual and forecast outcomes and propose enhancements to tracking indicators and projection methodologies
  • Contribute to strategic planning exercises and budgetary construction; provide analytical support to growth assumptions and hypothesis validation
  • Conduct exploratory analysis to identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities beyond standard reporting; execute ad hoc analyses on cross-functional topics as requested by executive leadership and business units
  • Prepare executive-level performance review materials in direct collaboration with the Head of Business Performance Improvement, ensuring clarity and impact of strategic messaging
  • Collaborate closely with finance, merchandising, retail, and regional teams to collect and integrate data sources; serve as analytical interface between operational teams and senior leadership, centralizing requests, data, and analyses
  • Mentor and develop an intern through analytical and reporting projects, ensuring capability development and deliverable quality
  • Contribute to AI integration within analytical workflows (prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, process automation); identify and operationalize high-impact use cases
  • Monitor emerging analytical best practices and tools; propose methodological and technological improvements to enhance team performance

Qualifications

  • Advanced education in quantitative disciplines (engineering school, applied mathematics, statistics, quantitative economics, or equivalent university qualification)
  • 6–8 years of experience in business analysis, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), planning, or commercial performance
  • Proven expertise with Power BI (DAX), BigQuery/SQL, and advanced Excel
  • Python proficiency or demonstrated strong capability
  • Demonstrated familiarity with applied artificial intelligence, including prompt engineering, analytical process automation, and emerging architectures (agents, RAG, model orchestration)
  • Experience working with or supporting executive committees
  • Previous experience in management consulting (strategy, organization, transformation), luxury industry, retail, or fast-moving consumer goods
  • Prior mentoring or coaching experience (internship, apprenticeship sponsorship)

Education

Advanced degree in quantitative discipline: engineering, applied mathematics, statistics, quantitative economics, or equivalent university qualification. Candidates with dual analytical and business competency are particularly valued.
