Saint Laurent seeks a Retail Trainer in Singapore to develop and deliver training programmes across Southeast Asia. Report to SEAO HR Director.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist SEAO HR Director in deploying retail training activities and implementing localized training initiatives from headquarters
  • Deliver focused training sessions across stores emphasizing brand heritage, product knowledge, selling skills, and customer service excellence
  • Select, brief, and monitor external training providers and facilitators as required
  • Ensure comprehensive induction sessions for all new hires in both retail and office environments
  • Manage training logistics including venue selection, classroom setup, electronic equipment, and training materials preparation
  • Conduct in-store coaching and gather constructive feedback to support team development
  • Perform regular store visits and field attachments to assess training effectiveness and identify coaching opportunities
  • Develop and maintain follow-up tools for training participants and on-the-job performance checks
  • Consolidate and update comprehensive training databases including attendance records, participant information, training dates, program details, and evaluation outcomes
  • Monitor digital training platform usage and e-learning initiatives to ensure high completion rates
  • Collaborate with APAC Senior Training Manager and retail leadership to identify training needs and complete annual training schedules

Qualifications

  • Previous training experience preferably in the retail industry or within a consultancy firm with facilitation and content development exposure
  • Excellent communication and coordination capabilities
  • Strong time and task management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and e-learning platforms
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Southeast Asian region and spend significant time in-store
