Saint Laurent is hiring a Retail Trainer for Southern Europe based in Milan. Lead training programs across Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Greece.
Role & Responsibilities
- Roll out tailored training programs in collaboration with the General Manager and EMEA training manager to identify local needs and implement customized action plans
- Partner with HR to develop training plans aligned with local market requirements and collaborate with Store Directors to deliver in-store training
- Serve as brand ambassador for Saint Laurent's key messages, developing the selling skills of client advisors across the Southern Europe stores
- Implement and oversee the Saint Laurent client experience strategy, evaluating its execution and taking performance-based actions in partnership with store directors
- Roll out seasonal collection and product training programs, organize newcomer onboarding sessions, and develop and animate a Training Ambassadors community
- Monitor performance of all training programs with emphasis on client experience evaluation metrics and ensure seamless integration of e-learning content
- Support omnichannel transformation initiatives and partner with operational and clienteling teams to drive business results
Qualifications
- Proven experience in luxury retail operations and training
- Strong retail business orientation with demonstrated understanding of client experience strategies
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and teamwork abilities
- Outstanding organizational skills with capacity to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Advanced level of English language proficiency; Spanish language skills highly valued
Skills
Experience
Proven track record in luxury retail environments, with demonstrated success in training program delivery, team development, and client experience optimization. Experience supporting multiple markets or regions is advantageous.
Education
Secondary education required; post-secondary qualification in business, retail management, or human resources is preferred.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Milan, Lombardy, Italy.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position is EUR 60,000 per annum.
