The Retail Merchandising Intern will support Saint Laurent’s European Retail Merchandising team, reporting to the Senior Merchandiser Europe. Responsibilities span sales reporting and analysis, stock and boutique operations, retail support materials, and buying campaigns. This is a final-year internship.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Conduct weekly analyses by product category, collection and boutique.
- Analyze sales daily.
- Manage stock, transfers and replenishment.
- Handle ad hoc requests from boutiques.
- Contribute to materials for boutiques, including product and order catalogues, training materials and selling aids.
- Communicate with boutiques across Europe to monitor performance and support retail initiatives.
- Attend showrooms during buying campaigns.
- Create buying tools and enter orders.
- Illustrate buying selections.
Qualifications
- Currently completing a Master 2 degree and seeking a final-year internship; graduated from a business school.
- Good knowledge of buying and analysis.
- Rigorous, responsive and proactive, with the ability to make recommendations.
- Product sensitivity.
- Strong interpersonal and writing skills.
- Excellent English and French, used as working languages.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- A first experience in luxury retail is an advantage.
