Saint Laurent Production Planning Manager role in Vigonza, Italy. Lead internal footwear production planning and coordination. Competitive salary from €55,000 plus benefits.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Plan and ensure delivery of finished footwear products according to commercial and production drop dates defined in the production schedule assigned to the atelier
  • Monitor the status of internal production advancement and implement necessary corrective measures in case of delays or defections
  • Oversee and plan processing activities across internal production departments including hemming and cutting, binding, assembly, and finishing
  • Ensure adequate inventory supply to support consistent departmental operations
  • Generate and manage material picking lists and conduct analysis of missing components
  • Conduct detailed analysis of missing materials required for internal production initiation, particularly for hemming and cutting departments
  • Provide reporting on internal production department performance metrics and capacity utilization rates
  • Collaborate with other Industrial Supply Chain teams including Procurement, External Production Planning, Warehouse, and Production Department leads
  • Coordinate, motivate, and oversee team resources while ensuring professional development and competency advancement of direct reports

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Engineering, or related discipline
  • Minimum 10 years of prior experience in similar roles including production planning and advancement, preferably in footwear manufacturing
  • Proven experience in team and personnel management
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
  • Knowledge of STEALTH (ST3k) ERP system preferred
  • Strong analytical and data management capabilities
  • Proactive mindset with demonstrated initiative

Compensation

The base compensation for this position is EUR 55,000 per annum.
