Saint Laurent seeks a Product Development Coordinator in Scandicci, Italy. Manage prototypes, samples, and production setup using PLM and Stealth systems.
Role & Responsibilities
- Codify materials, models, and specifications into system (Stealth and PLM) for each prototype and sample article within women's handbag collections
- Compile bills of materials for prototypes and sample production
- Verify sample bills of materials prior to production launch
- Issue product orders to the Sample Advancement Office for prototype and sample development
- Catalog and organize prototype and sample photography for product compliance verification
- Liaise with the Design Office and Merchandising Department to facilitate collection information transfer and alignment
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of prior experience in leather goods manufacturing or a related role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent command of English; French language skills preferred
- Familiarity with PLM systems and Stealth software preferred
- Strong organizational abilities, precision, and meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative team orientation
- Demonstrated problem-solving capability and analytical mindset
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in product development, sampling coordination, or production planning within luxury leather goods manufacturing or fashion apparel companies.
Education
Secondary school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational qualification in fashion design, product development, or a related discipline is advantageous.
Workplace
This position is based in Scandicci, Tuscany, Italy, within easy reach of Florence.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position is EUR 26763.80 per annum.
