Saint Laurent in Paris seeks a Product Development Apprentice (Ready-to-Wear) on alternance starting Sept 2026. Assist PLM, sampling and atelier coordination.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist the product development manager in daily operational tasks for the tailoring and soft garment (flou) development team.
- Coordinate product development with Studio, patternmakers, internal platforms and external ateliers.
- Integrate product data into the PLM system and maintain accurate product records.
- Manage collection logistics from prototyping through sampling, including tracking prototypes and collection repeats.
- Monitor and follow up on deliveries and chase manufacturers as required.
- Prepare fittings and create model reference labels for each style.
- Receive, inspect and control incoming pieces; monitor fabric stock levels ahead of launches.
Qualifications
- Master’s-level education (Bac +4/5) from a business school or equivalent.
- Fluent command of English is required; Italian is a plus.
- Proven proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organisational ability, attention to detail, rigor and dynamism.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to liaise with internal teams and external suppliers.
- A first experience in the luxury or fashion sector is an advantage.
