Saint Laurent seeks an experienced Pattern Mechanic to execute the complete manufacturing process for high-complexity garments within the atelier environment. This role demands mastery of specialized industrial machinery, rigorous adherence to quality standards, and precise timeline management. The successful candidate will independently perform assemblies and finishing operations while maintaining exacting specifications.
Role & Responsibilities
- Study material properties and characteristics relevant to each garment specification
- Analyze assembly procedures by interpreting pattern markings and technical specifications
- Inspect cut pieces and thermal bonding applications for accuracy and consistency
- Execute autonomous assembly and finishing operations using industrial machinery and hand techniques
- Ensure quality and compliance of manufactured pieces in terms of construction quality, technical adherence, and schedule
- Perform routine maintenance and upkeep of workstation equipment
- Document identified issues and implemented solutions in writing upon completion of prototype production
Qualifications
- CAP, Bac pro, or BTS qualification in garment mechanics or fashion trades
- Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in a similar role, preferably within the luxury sector
- Thorough knowledge of garment assembly techniques across diverse fabric types
- Proficiency with industrial sewing and specialized machinery
- Demonstrated precision, responsiveness, and meticulous attention to detail
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal communication skills

Minimum 6 years of professional experience as a garment mechanic or in a comparable manufacturing role, with preference given to candidates whose background encompasses luxury fashion production.
Education
CAP, Bac professionnel, or BTS in garment mechanics or fashion trades
