Saint Laurent seeks an experienced Production Pattern Maker in Angers, France for fixed-term technical role in luxury ready-to-wear manufacturing.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Select technical solutions for pattern adjustment and fit
  • Execute pattern development in flat lay, digitalization, CAD/CAM industrialization, and grading
  • Develop comprehensive technical product files and specifications
  • Adapt base patterns according to different materials and fabric requirements
  • Monitor prototype and counter-sample development in-house and with subcontractors; implement pattern modifications as required
  • Verify pattern quality and compliance, ensuring consistency between pattern specifications and product nomenclature
  • Collaborate closely with production workshops, procurement, and subcontracting partners
  • Conduct production fittings in Paris and travel to French and international subcontractors to support production oversight
  • Maintain, update, and archive pattern files and technical documentation

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Fashion Design Technology (BTS MMV) or equivalent
  • Expert proficiency in Lectra Modaris V8
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator
  • Proficiency in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional team environments
  • Strong organizational and responsive problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and capacity to coordinate with multiple internal departments
