Saint Laurent Yorkdale seeks an Operations Manager in Toronto to oversee inventory, back-office operations and store compliance.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage warehouse stock flow and ensure correct rotation of merchandise to minimise loss and obsolescence.
  • Prepare and execute the annual inventory; investigate and resolve discrepancies with appropriate action plans.
  • Monitor monthly cycle counts and turning inventories; implement and follow up on corrective action plans.
  • Implement and ensure adherence to HQ-defined back-office action plans and store-level follow-up.
  • Support Store Director and Assistant Store Director in achieving sales KPIs through operational excellence and staff oversight.
  • Supervise store image and presentation standards; ensure all staff understand and maintain brand visual and service expectations.
  • Handle complex customer complaints and sensitive back-office incidents to resolution.
  • Recruit, supervise and develop operational staff including administrative assistants, cashiers, stock keepers, security and tailor services.

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of progressive experience in stock management, inventory control and administrative retail operations.
  • Proven managerial experience supervising teams (minimum 3 direct reports).
  • Demonstrated ability to design and execute inventory action plans and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with persuasive communication and conflict-resolution capabilities.
  • Commitment to operational compliance across legal, safety, sustainability and HR requirements.

Experience

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 80,000 to CAD 84,000 per annum.
