Yves Saint Laurent seeks a National Makeup Artist for YSL Beauty in a permanent, full-time role based in Melbourne. The role leads national retail events and artistry, develops Beauty Advisor capabilities with the National Education Manager, and supports customer experience, PR activations and branded social content to strengthen engagement and commercial growth.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive national retail event strategies across YSL Beauty boutiques and leading department store locations, generating sales through in-store events for new and existing loyalty clients.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and experiences in retail locations.
- Partner with the National Education Manager to deliver the education strategy and inspire Beauty Advisors and customers with the latest makeup techniques and trends.
- Identify training needs within the field team and work with the National Education Manager to develop strategies to address them.
- Lead local makeup artistry teams at major brand PR activations and high-profile influencer events, collaborating with the Communications team and liaising with key influencers and press.
- Create engaging artistry content for branded social channels, including Instagram and TikTok, showcasing product performance and building a dedicated community.
- Collaborate with the YSL Beauty global team as needed to enhance education assets for product launches and upskilling.
Qualifications
- Mastery of professional makeup techniques, luxury client service and trend forecasting.
- Proven track record delivering retail animations, driving in-store traffic and meeting sales targets.
- Strong ability to deliver engaging masterclasses and upskill diverse retail teams.
- Skill in creating short-form digital content for TikTok and Instagram and representing brands on camera.
- Ability to partner cross-functionally with PR, Education and international brand marketing teams.
