Saint Laurent hiring Merchandising Coordinator internship in Paris; collection development and sales analysis roles starting January 2027.
Role & Responsibilities
- Participate in collection development and design process
- Prepare development meetings and coordinate with cross-functional teams
- Create and maintain sales catalogues and showroom merchandising tools (sales books, material books, collection files)
- Manage product sketches and catalogue information during development and showroom periods
- Track prototype inventory, coordinate photography, and manage corrections throughout the showroom cycle
- Conduct and author sell-in analyses, best-seller reviews, and SKU performance metrics during showroom periods
- Prepare comprehensive post-showroom collection reports with quantitative and qualitative performance analysis
- Monitor weekly and monthly product category performance, including worldwide and regional sell-out tracking
- Conduct ongoing competitive analysis including market offerings, pricing positioning, campaigns, and runway presentations
Qualifications
- Degree in Commerce, Business, or specialized Master's in Fashion/Fashion Management
- First professional experience in luxury sector with demonstrated product sensibility
- Fluent English; Italian language a plus
- Proficiency with numerical data and analysis
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Strong interpersonal and team collaboration abilities
- Excellent organizational skills, flexibility, and attention to detail
