Saint Laurent Paris seeks a Merchandise Planning Intern (Women’s RTW, Shoes & Business Units) — 6-month internship starting Sept 2026.
Role & Responsibilities
- Track collection performance against the sales plan for Women’s ready-to-wear, Shoes and Business units (sunglasses, jewellery and soft accessories).
- Prepare weekly and monthly merchandising reports covering key KPIs and present findings to planning stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly sales forecasts by region, based on assortments, timelines and promotional activity.
- Monitor forecast accuracy versus actual sales and follow up on corrective actions.
- Update and maintain the store assortment tool to support forecasting and reorder decisions.
- Support central reorder opportunities, update the global reorder recaps by product category and follow up on action points.
- Track seasonality and key business drivers to inform allocation and replenishment decisions.
- Collaborate with collection, retail merchandising, regional buying, production and supply chain teams to ensure alignment on deliveries, inventory and stock optimisation.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Fashion Management, Merchandising or a related discipline (Grande École, Business School or equivalent).
- Strong analytical mindset with a genuine interest in product and market performance metrics.
- Proficiency in Excel; good command of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Adaptable and able to perform in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Fluent in English.

Entry-level internship: no specific prior professional experience required. Previous internships or coursework in merchandising, retail planning, forecasting, or data analysis are advantageous.
Education
Currently enrolled in a university or Grande École programme in Business, Fashion Management, Merchandising or equivalent.
