Role & Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute marketing initiatives aligned to global strategies, incorporating both paid advertising (online and offline) and owned media channels.
  • Coordinate seasonal campaign launches and manage multi-channel content distribution across OOH, print, online tie‑ups, META, Yahoo, LINE, paid editorial and influencer (KOL) posts.
  • Manage owned media platforms including the brand website (YSL.jp), LINE and X, acting as the local point of contact for updates and platform governance.
  • Develop and implement 360° marketing strategies and mid- to long-term plans for current and future projects.
  • Liaise with HQ (Paris) to request, localize and coordinate creative asset production for market activations.
  • Optimize cross-channel user experience to maximize the effectiveness of brand communications and customer journeys.
  • Own project management duties: define objectives, manage timelines, control budgets and ensure on-time delivery of initiatives.
  • Prepare campaign performance reports, track KPIs and perform competitor analysis to inform continuous optimisation.
  • Draft content concepts and produce clear creative briefs for internal teams and external creative/media partners.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders (Communications, Merchandising, Retail, CRM) and external agencies to ensure integrated execution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrable experience in planning and executing advertising and owned-media initiatives within fashion, luxury or premium consumer sectors.
  • Proven project management capabilities, including timeline and budget control for multi-stakeholder campaigns.
  • Ability to develop actionable creative briefs and collaborate effectively with creative and media agencies.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in KPI tracking, reporting and competitive analysis.
  • Familiarity with key digital and social platforms used in the Japanese market and the ability to coordinate with global HQ.
  • Professional-level communication skills; ability to liaise with international teams and external partners (business-level English preferred; Japanese market fluency highly desirable).
