Saint Laurent internship: 6-month knitwear design assistant role in Paris. Support collection development, technical drawings, and studio coordination. September 2026.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive support to the knitwear studio across all stages of collection development
- Conduct research and compile inspiration boards to inform design direction
- Maintain detailed studio organization, including timelines, launch schedules, and team communication systems
- Create measurement specifications and detailed technical specifications for garments
- Participate in fittings, document feedback, and prepare detailed notes for design refinement
- Develop prototypes and mockups under studio supervision
- Execute Photoshop renderings and color variations for design presentations
- Generate technical drawings in Adobe Illustrator for production specifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in fashion design from an accredited institution
- Demonstrated sensibility and foundational expertise in knitwear construction and techniques
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Fluent written and spoken French and English
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
