Saint Laurent seeks a Junior Digital Merchandiser Buyer in Paris to optimize maroquinerie assortment across digital channels and drive e-commerce performance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Track sales performance and optimize stock coverage for leather goods across the digital network, proposing adaptive actions to achieve growth and sell-through targets
- Communicate weekly replenishment needs to Supply Chain teams and manage allocation of seasonal products across all digital doors
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses of product assortment for each sales channel, serving as a catalyst for continuous improvement
- Escalate e-commerce requirements to Planning and Collection Merchandising teams, flagging critical needs and market insights
- Prepare analytical briefings for buying sessions (approximately 6 annually), execute collection purchases, and capture product feedback for design teams
- Conduct buying reviews with concession partners and prepare comprehensive Buying Debrief presentations for senior leadership
- Animate product categories on YSL.COM by updating visual merchandising and commercial entry points
- Coordinate collection launches with Visual Merchandising, Retail Merchandising, and Operations teams to ensure seamless execution
- Define product assortment strategy—both qualitative and quantitative—across high-impact periods, including cultural events, marketing activations, and seasonal moments
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience in digital merchandising, e-commerce, or retail buying
- Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in quantitative and qualitative data assessment
- Proven ability to manage complex supplier and internal stakeholder relationships
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to execute multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Familiarity with product lifecycle management and inventory optimization in a luxury context

Experience
Prior experience in digital merchandising, e-commerce buying, or retail operations, ideally within the luxury fashion or premium goods sector. A background in inventory management, merchandise planning, or product assortment strategy is advantageous.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion, Merchandising, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience in luxury retail or e-commerce may be considered.
