The Jersey Product Development Assistant supports the team within Saint Laurent’s finished-product development department, handling launch follow-up, trims, materials sourcing, project tracking and collection updates. This is a six-month internship starting in January 2027.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist the Jersey team with day-to-day activities within the finished-product development department.
- Support launch follow-up, including sample receipt and checks and measurement-sheet management.
- Manage, send and develop trims and supplies.
- Prepare bills of materials.
- Track special, VIP and press projects.
- Support material sourcing and order follow-up, including trade shows and supplier meetings; stock, pricing, technical-sheet and sustainable-material certification requests; and updates to the materials book.
- Transmit information between the studio, factories, production and merchandising teams.
- Update collection communication and tracking materials in PLM.
- Provide administrative and logistical support, including supplier follow-ups and invoicing.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Product sensibility and technical knowledge.
- A first experience in the luxury or fashion sector.
- Fluent English is required; Italian is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills, rigor, organizational ability, dynamism and availability.
