Saint Laurent seeks an Inventory Control Assistant Intern in its EMEA Finance and Inventory Control department in Paris. The intern will manage boutique stock administration, logistics tracking, reconciliations, sales validation and monthly financial reporting, while updating procedures after an ERP change and exploring process improvements.
Role & Responsibilities
- Track and control boutique merchandise logistics shipments, coordinating across Kering Logistics and Aftersales, YSL Worldwide Supply Chain, and Saint Laurent boutiques across EMEA.
- Review and validate stock adjustments, including uniforms, supplier credit notes, and gifts.
- Prepare reports for local financial controllers and auditors, reconciling stock movements, Supply Chain flows, and stock adjustments.
- Review and validate daily sales for management control teams and send certified sales reports weekly for the YSL India scope.
- Update procedures following the ERP change and explore process automation and optimization solutions.
- Administer boutique inventories and prepare monthly financial reports.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Master’s degree at a business school or in management at a university.
- Fluent English.
- Strong command of computer tools, including Excel.
- Rigorous and organized, with strong analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.
