Saint Laurent — London: Human Resources Intern (6-month internship) supporting recruitment, Workday onboarding and HR administration.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end recruitment activities: screen and sort CVs from advertisements and walk-ins, review applications against job requirements, maintain a candidate pool and conduct reference/background checks.
  • Coordinate external recruitment channels and partnerships with local and international preferred agencies; schedule and coordinate interviews with HR, Retail Director and General Manager.
  • Execute Workday administration for new joiners and leavers: create and complete employee profiles, prepare onboarding documentation, manage offboarding paperwork and ensure all employee files are up to date.
  • Liaise with Kering Shared Services / HRSS on cross-border HR processes including NOCs, salary certificate requests, visa and labour card follow-ups, arrival logistics and start dates for international hires.
  • Manage monthly payroll inputs for retail staff (commissions, bonuses, leave) and submit the retail payroll report to Kering HRSS.
  • Monitor leave balances and update records in Workday; perform routine audits of personnel folders and run monthly checks to ensure data integrity.
  • Provide ad hoc HR administrative support such as arranging business travel and visas for trainings and assisting with probationary period confirmations.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of professionalism when interacting with internal stakeholders and external agencies.
  • Excellent organisational aptitude and methodical approach to documentation, reconciliations and deadline-driven tasks.
  • Demonstrable ability to learn quickly, take direction and assimilate new HR processes and systems.
  • Personable demeanour with the capacity to receive and act on feedback constructively.
