Saint Laurent seeks an HR Business Partner for its Footwear Division in Vigonza, Italy. Support talent management, compliance, and organizational development.
Role & Responsibilities
- Implement and oversee core HR processes including recruitment, performance and talent management, compensation administration, training and development, and employee relations in alignment with operational departments
- Partner with line managers to provide organizational development support, workforce planning guidance, and strategic people management across the footwear production division
- Manage the complete employee lifecycle, ensuring proper HR documentation, administrative compliance, and adherence to Italian labor law and internal policies in coordination with Group HR Shared Services
- Serve as the primary employee contact, fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture and addressing people-related concerns
- Oversee talent acquisition activities and ensure alignment with business staffing requirements
- Lead the design and implementation of talent development and employee engagement initiatives
- Coordinate and execute onboarding processes to ensure effective and engaging new-hire integration
- Develop and implement programs to enhance employee engagement and performance outcomes
- Monitor and report on HR metrics and key performance indicators with accuracy and insight
- Collaborate with regional and corporate HR teams to ensure process consistency with Saint Laurent strategy, advocating for best practices and strengthening a collaborative team culture
Qualifications
- Degree in Human Resources or related field, with specialization preferred
- Proven experience in similar HR business partner or HR operations roles, preferably in manufacturing or operational environments
- Strong knowledge of Italian labor law and employment regulations
- Solid understanding of employee administration best practices
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Fluent English language skills
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-growing environments and contribute authentically to organizational development
Skills
Experience
Previous experience in similar HR business partner roles, preferably within manufacturing, operations, or production environments. Demonstrated competency in managing the complete employee lifecycle, employee relations, and HR compliance within regulated employment contexts.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; specialization in Human Resources management preferred.
Workplace
This position is based in Vigonza, Veneto, Italy, within easy reach of Padua.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position is EUR 28,000 per annum.
