Role & Responsibilities

  • Support financial operations across Saint Laurent Americas, including the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, and Panama
  • Participate actively in forecasting and budgeting processes for sales, operating expenditures, wholesale capital expenditures, and channel-specific daily reconciliations, with subsequent reporting to the global executive team
  • Collaborate with the Accounting department during monthly and year-end closing procedures, including uploads to the financial consolidation platform
  • Analyze financial results and operational processes to identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement
  • Prepare and review monthly financial reports at both regional and headquarters levels, including profit-and-loss statements with qualitative and quantitative analysis, management expense reports, wholesale capital expenditure summaries, and key performance indicator compilations
  • Maintain daily, weekly, monthly, and year-to-date sales reporting across retail channels as a backup resource
  • Support the Senior Financial Analyst in compiling financial results for departmental leadership
  • Assist in preparing monthly business review presentations for the worldwide executive team
  • Execute ad hoc financial analyses and special projects as required by management
  • Provide support in year-end audit preparation activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting (MBA preferred)
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in a similar financial analyst or business analyst role
  • Retail industry experience highly valued
  • Proficiency with Excel, including pivot tables, SUMIF functions, and advanced formulas
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Access and PowerPoint
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and procedures
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Willingness to travel to the New York office as operational needs require

Experience

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting required. Master of Business Administration (MBA) is preferred but not mandatory.
