Role & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with FP&A and Shared Services to set and analyze sales and category targets on a yearly, half-yearly, quarterly, and monthly basis.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of actual versus budget progression, including market trend forecasting and cost control.
- Prepare detailed financial reports, including daily retail sales versus targets and year-to-date comparisons by store and category.
- Manage operating expenses and balance sheets, ensuring accurate cost center and account oversight.
- Lead budget capex and depreciation analysis, focusing on store profit and loss.
- Ensure compliance with accounting procedures and prepare financial vouchers for local and intercompany transactions.
- Oversee monthly and year-to-date financial data closure in accordance with the Kering Accounting Manual.
- Facilitate expense reporting and address inquiries from headquarters.
- Support external and internal audits as needed.
- Oversee inventory control and conduct bi-annual stock taking.
- Assist with compliance and legal issues.
- Contribute to the strategic expansion of the store network, including openings, refurbishments, and relocations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within an international environment
- Native proficiency in Japanese
- Business proficiency in English
