Join Saint Laurent in Paris as a Fashion Design Intern. Contribute to the luxury fashion industry with responsibilities in collection documentation and product development. Fluency in English and basic French required.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Update collection documents including sketches, material books, and technical drawings.
  • Assist in the preparation of fittings.
  • Support product development processes.
  • Create technical drawings using Illustrator.
  • Produce mock-ups.
  • Assist in thematic research for seasonal prints and embroideries, including illustration, graphics, and pattern placement.
  • Contribute to thematic research for the collection, utilizing documentation, books, web resources, and studio materials.
  • Aid in the preparation of the showroom and collection displays.

Qualifications

  • Background in Fashion Design with a specialization in Women's Fashion.
  • Strong product sensitivity and technical knowledge of women's garments.
  • Stylistic inspirations aligned with the Saint Laurent universe.
  • Solid understanding of pattern making, garment construction, draping, sewing, and 3D technical skills.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • International profiles highly valued; fluency in English and basic French required.
  • Versatile, organized, and responsive.
  • A valid internship agreement from a physical educational institution is mandatory.

Skills

Technical drawing and design skills. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Effective communication in English and French. Knowledge of garment construction and pattern making.

Experience

Previous experience in fashion design or a related field is preferred.

Education

Currently pursuing a degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
