Saint Laurent — Paris: Fabric Purchasing Assistant (Intern), 6‑month internship supporting fabrics buying, PLM and dyeing coordination.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support fabric buyers across women’s and men’s collections (WW26, WCR27, WSU27, MSP27) throughout sourcing and purchasing processes.
- Assist the lined fabrics buyer with research, order preparation and all related administrative tasks.
- Coordinate and manage dyeing orders for lined fabrics, including supplier negotiation on price and lead times.
- Ensure accurate receipt, completion and upload of technical data sheets for all fabrics into the PLM system.
- Maintain and regularly update raw material trackers and the PLM with complete technical specifications for fabrics.
- Verify that all fabrics are certified or certifiable for production in line with Kering sustainability standards.
- Organize fabric collection from mills via shuttle or truck when required and ensure all relevant information is recorded in the dedicated online system.
Qualifications
- Candidate enrolled in or graduated from a business school or fashion school (procurement, merchandising or product-focused curricula preferred).
- Previous internship or first experience within the luxury fashion sector is desirable and demonstrates product sensitivity.
- Good command of English; Italian language skills are an advantage.
- Excellent command of Pack Office tools; proven ability to work with PLM systems is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills, team orientation, high organisational rigour, flexibility and dynamism.

A 6‑month internship role; prior internship or entry-level experience in luxury fashion or materials procurement is desirable. Demonstrable product sensitivity and familiarity with fabric terminology and supply processes are preferred.

Business school or fashion school (procurement, merchandising, textile or related discipline).
