Saint Laurent — Paris: EMEA Retail Buying Intern role supporting buying operations, sales analysis and stock management. Internship in Retail Buying.
Role & Responsibilities
- Report to the Buying Manager Europe and support the Retail Buying team on day-to-day operations.
- Compile and deliver weekly and monthly sales reports; perform daily sales monitoring.
- Produce weekly analyses by product category, collection and store to inform buying decisions.
- Manage stock allocations, transfers and replenishment requests across European stores.
- Respond to ad hoc store requests and liaise with boutiques to monitor performance and implement retail actions.
- Prepare point-of-sale materials and store-facing documentation: product catalogues, order packs, training and selling aids.
- Support buying campaigns: attend showroom sessions, prepare buying tools, enter purchase orders and illustrate selections.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Master 2 (final-year Master's) in business, fashion, merchandising or a related discipline and seeking an end-of-study internship.
- Solid understanding of purchasing processes and retail sales analysis.
- High level of rigor, responsiveness and proactivity with a commercial mindset.
- Strong product sensitivity and retail intuition.
- Excellent written and spoken French and English (working languages).
- Proven proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Prior exposure to luxury retail or a merchandising/buying internship is a plus.
