The EMEA Financial Controlling Intern supports Saint Laurent’s regional financial performance monitoring and controlling activities, including monthly closing, cost analysis, forecasts, budgets and reporting. The role collaborates with Finance, Accounting and operational stakeholders across EMEA.
Role & Responsibilities
- Participate in monthly closing activities in close collaboration with Accounting and Maison stakeholders.
- Support financial monitoring and monthly closing activities for a dedicated perimeter.
- Prepare and review closing analyses focused on operating expenses, and investigate variances against forecasts, budgets and prior-year results.
- Support the preparation of forecasts and budgets across the EMEA region.
- Consolidate, validate and analyze financial information provided by business stakeholders and the Controlling team.
- Contribute to monitoring and analyzing regional corporate expenses, including communication-related costs.
- Support transversal analyses, reporting activities and finance projects across the EMEA region.
- Assist in preparing planning deliverables and management presentations.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree (Master 1 or Master 2) in Finance, Accounting, Controlling or Business Administration.
- Previous internship or apprenticeship experience in Controlling, FP&A, Audit or Corporate Finance is highly appreciated.
- Ability to interact with stakeholders across Finance and Business teams.
- Fluency in English.
