Saint Laurent — Paris: Financial Control Intern (EMEA) supporting monthly closings, forecasts and consolidated reporting for the EMEA finance team.

Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support monthly closing activities including preparation and review of closing files (primarily Opex and related expenses).
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses and investigate variances versus forecast to support financial steering.
  • Contribute to consolidated and local reporting packages and intercompany reconciliations.
  • Load, validate and maintain accuracy of data in forecasting and consolidation systems.
  • Participate in preparation of forecasts and budgets for selected entities and assist in Opex analysis and cost monitoring.
  • Provide transversal support for finance initiatives (audits, compliance, and ad-hoc projects) and collaborate with operational teams to deliver financial insights.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical mindset with rigor, numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to liaise with local finance teams and operational partners.
  • Proficiency in Excel and MS Office; familiarity with forecasting and consolidation tools is a plus.
  • Fluency in English.

Experience

Intern-level role: currently enrolled students in finance, accounting or related programs. Prior internships or practical experience in finance or reporting is advantageous but not mandatory.

Education

Ongoing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field.
