The Distribution Planning Intern supports daily distribution of permanent and seasonal products, allocation priorities, retail-demand planning and stock coverage across central and regional warehouses. The role also involves coordinating with supply-chain stakeholders and recommending stock transfers. Internship starting in March 2027.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the daily distribution of permanent and seasonal products.
- Work with key supply-chain stakeholders to reduce product dispatch and transportation lead times.
- Manage allocation priorities based on the latest market needs.
- Anticipate fluctuations in retail demand, including store openings, sales peaks and warehouse closures.
- Recommend stock-adjustment strategies across stores and regions, including inter-store and inter-regional transfers.
- Maintain satisfactory stock coverage at central and regional warehouses in line with central policy.
Qualifications
- Engineering or business school education.
- Good command of Excel; knowledge of macros is highly appreciated.
- Numerical aptitude and an analytical mindset.
- Fluent English is essential.
- Adaptability and responsiveness.
- Knowledge of the fashion industry and supply systems is a plus.
