Saint Laurent Department Manager – Shanghai. Lead luxury retail operations and team at flagship boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Recruit, develop, and retain a loyal customer base while building VIP and top-client relationships
- Implement action plans developed with headquarters and store leadership, ensuring store-level execution and follow-up
- Lead, motivate, and coach department team members to achieve assigned targets and tasks
- Communicate high-quality feedback and reporting to the Assistant Store Director and Store Director
- Create and maintain a positive, motivating work environment that encourages daily team engagement
- Promote brand culture internally and externally, positioning the department as a luxury authority
- Ensure the store atmosphere and merchandise presentation uphold Saint Laurent's premium brand image
- Challenge existing processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness within the department
- Ensure compliance with legal, safety, internal requirements, sustainability standards, and inventory management protocols
Qualifications
- Commitment to participate in innovative and transformational projects
- Demonstrated product sensitivity and strong knowledge of market and fashion trends with excellent general cultural literacy
- Significant luxury retail or luxury goods sales experience with an established customer portfolio
- Proven managerial experience with ability to provide constructive, candid feedback and coach teams to success
- High sensitivity to customer experience and loyalty metrics
- Precision, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks based on business needs
