Saint Laurent seeks an experienced Department Manager for its Chengdu IFS boutique to lead sales teams and drive luxury retail excellence in mainland China.
Role & Responsibilities
- Recruit, develop, and retain customers through personalized engagement and VIP client relationship management
- Implement corporate and store-level action plans whilst ensuring consistent execution and reporting at store level
- Provide high-quality feedback and reporting to the Assistant Store Director and Store Director
- Create and maintain a positive, motivating work environment that challenges and inspires the department team daily
- Promote brand culture both internally and externally
- Cultivate relationships with influential figures in the local and international luxury business landscape to enhance customer loyalty
- Ensure the store atmosphere aligns with and reinforces brand positioning and image
- Guarantee compliance with all legal, safety, internal, sustainability, human resources, and inventory management requirements
- Challenge existing processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness within the department
Qualifications
- Demonstrated commitment to participating in innovation and transformation initiatives
- Product sensitivity and strong knowledge of market and fashion trends with excellent general cultural knowledge
- Significant experience in luxury goods sales or retail with an established customer portfolio
- Proven managerial experience with the ability to provide constructive, direct feedback and coach teams to success
- High sensitivity to customer experience and loyalty metrics
- Strong precision, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks based on business needs
- Adaptability, open-mindedness, active listening abilities, and strong curiosity
- High availability and responsiveness
