Saint Laurent in Beverly Hills seeks a Department Manager to lead a boutique product department, drive sales and develop the team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach a product department within the boutique to deliver sales targets, KPI objectives and outstanding client experiences.
  • Partner with the Store Director and Assistant Store Director to implement corporate initiatives, team development plans, product training and operational standards.
  • Drive daily sales performance through on-floor presence, individual coaching, team briefings and reinforcement of Brilliant Basics principles.
  • Open and close the boutique and operate the POS in accordance with operational, cash-handling and loss-prevention procedures.
  • Analyse daily, weekly and monthly sales reports to identify trends, forecast performance and implement corrective action plans.
  • Maintain product knowledge across assortments, communicate stock availability and technical updates to the team and to Buying as required.
  • Manage escalated client issues in coordination with Client Services and Operations to preserve brand standards and client relationships.
  • Ensure department visual standards comply with Visual Merchandising guidelines and support weekly cycle counts and inventory discrepancy resolution.
  • Uphold operational policies and prepare for store audits; cultivate strong working relationships with cross-functional corporate partners and other boutiques.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support boutique performance and brand initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of retail experience with at least 2 years in a retail management capacity.
  • Proven track record of managing and motivating a sales team of five or more to achieve quantitative and qualitative goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to remain composed and decisive under pressure in a fast-paced luxury retail environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience analysing sales reports and driving KPI-based action plans.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
