Saint Laurent Department Manager role in Beijing—lead sales teams, drive luxury customer engagement and manage retail operations for a prestigious Sanlitun flagship store.
Role & Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, develop and motivate the sales team to achieve quantitative and qualitative targets
- Supervise daily floor operations across the sales floor, fitting rooms and cashier desk to maintain brand standards and customer service excellence
- Manage inventory analysis and stock rotation for the department; coordinate with warehouse and back office operations to optimize merchandising efficiency
- Develop and execute action plans aligned with headquarters and store leadership; monitor daily, weekly and monthly KPIs and conduct annual assessments
- Cultivate and manage customer relationships with a focus on VIPs and top clients; personally oversee complex customer issues and ensure loyalty programmes are implemented
- Communicate product knowledge and technical information to staff daily; provide regular feedback and monthly reporting to store leadership on sales performance and market trends
- Uphold brand image and store atmosphere standards; ensure visual merchandising and product displays align with corporate guidelines
- Implement loss prevention measures and ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, sustainability standards and operational procedures
Qualifications
- Significant experience in luxury retail sales or comparable premium goods sector
- Proven managerial background with demonstrated ability to lead, coach and provide constructive feedback to teams
- Strong understanding of fashion trends and market dynamics with genuine product sensitivity
- Excellent customer service orientation with proven ability to build and maintain high-end client portfolios
- Fluency in English; Mandarin Chinese preferred for Beijing location
