Saint Laurent — Paris: Denim Product Development Intern (6‑month internship) supporting the denim team with samples, PLM, BOMs and supplier coordination.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the denim product development team in daily operations and collection launches, including reception and quality control of samples.
- Prepare and manage measurement sheets and technical documentation for new items.
- Coordinate development, dispatch and tracking of trims, accessories and textile supplies.
- Draft and maintain nomenclature/BOM (fiches nomenclatures) and update the material book; prepare and send swatches and sample strips.
- Maintain and update PLM records and other collection tracking and communication tools.
- Liaise between studio, factories, production and merchandising to ensure smooth information flow and project follow-through.
- Support VIP and press project logistics and follow-ups.
- Provide administrative and logistical assistance including supplier follow-ups and invoicing support.
Qualifications
- Fluent spoken and written English (mandatory); Italian is a plus.
- Prior experience in the fashion or luxury sector (internship or entry-level role required).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
- Solid product sensibility and technical knowledge of garment construction and denim processes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated rigor, organization, proactivity and availability.

Experience
A first professional experience in fashion or luxury is required — typically one previous internship or entry-level role within product development, technical departments, or a design studio, with exposure to apparel sampling and factory communication.
Education
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's program in Fashion, Textile Technology, Product Development, Apparel Design, Industrial Engineering or a closely related field.
