Yves Saint Laurent seeks a Counter Manager in Taizhou to lead sales performance, customer relationships, counter operations and team development in beauty retail. The role includes managing inventory and compliance, coaching and scheduling the team, and delivering brand-specific training, performance bonuses, insurance and paid leave.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and coach the team to achieve sales targets; manage, allocate and track performance indicators.
- Raise service standards at the counter, deliver an excellent consumer experience and strengthen customer relationships.
- Manage counter customer relationships and develop plans to retain existing customers and recruit new ones.
- Maintain effective partnerships with department stores and shopping centres, support their activities and strengthen the brand’s reputation in the retail district.
- Monitor market trends and competitors, identify the counter’s strengths and develop sales opportunities.
- Oversee compliance with company policies at the counter and among team members, and uphold the brand image.
- Use and maintain beauty retail systems, beauty equipment and digital tools relevant to the counter.
- Manage counter products and inventory, ensuring stock counts and inventory records are accurate.
- Track team performance, identify performance gaps, support team training, recommend solutions and coach team members.
- Manage, motivate and develop team members.
- Ensure staffing levels meet the counter’s business needs and allocate shifts and work assignments appropriately.
- Communicate effectively with team members, share information across the team, strengthen loyalty, encourage openness and collaboration, and maintain high morale.
