Saint Laurent Costing Department Internship in Scandicci, Italy – cost analysis, leather goods production, mentorship-driven learning.
Role & Responsibilities
- Learn and execute cost estimation and valuation processes through collaboration with Procurement, Materials Research, Consumption Management, and Methods & Timing departments
- Apply target costing methodologies, target pricing frameworks, and industrial process analysis techniques
- Monitor and manage price variance adjustments and standard tariff changes across product lines
- Conduct margin analysis for collections and assess cost variations resulting from quality improvements and related simulations
- Support cost containment and standardization optimization initiatives
- Input and manage standard cost data for components into ERP systems
- Archive technical documentation and generate analytical reports and dashboards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Economics or Management Engineering
- Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills
- Demonstrated aptitude for analytical and quantitative work
- Strong collaborative mindset and team orientation
- Exceptional attention to detail and methodical approach to problem-solving
- Advanced command of English
