Saint Laurent — Paris: Collection Merchandising Assistant (Womenswear) internship starting Sept 2026, six‑month placement in the Merchandising team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the womenswear collection merchandising team across daily tasks, acting as assistant to category merchandisers.
  • Maintain and update merchandising databases and tools (pricing, assortment/modelario, sell‑in data and product records).
  • Monitor and analyse sell‑out performance in boutiques; prepare qualitative and quantitative reports (weekly reviews, end‑of‑season analyses).
  • Contribute to sell‑in analysis during showroom periods, tracking best sellers and relevant KPIs; assist with end‑of‑showroom summaries.
  • Assist in showroom organisation and collection development follow‑up (materials tracking, fitting dossiers, catalogue preparation).
  • Prepare and contribute to sales enablement materials (sales books, fabric books, product offering modelarios) and collection briefs.
  • Coordinate prototype management during showrooms: tagging, storage, shipment tracking, alterations follow‑up, visual merchandising and press handling.
  • Perform continuous market and competitive intelligence: trend monitoring, pricing and product mapping, and fashion‑week show reviews.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a business school or equivalent — Bac+4/5 (master’s level) required.
  • Eligible for a second‑year gap internship (stage 2ème partie de césure) or final‑year internship; available from September 2026 for a six‑month placement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is required.
  • Fluent English is essential.
  • Previous internship or first experience in luxury fashion or apparel is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong organisational ability, adaptability and a dynamic attitude.
