Saint Laurent Client Advisor & Stock Controller role in Bicester, UK. Dual position balancing client service and inventory management in luxury retail.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding client and after-sales service to all visitors, identifying needs and anticipating future requests
  • Cultivate and maintain a robust client portfolio through proactive engagement and personalised service
  • Drive individual sales performance and KPI targets through a business-minded, entrepreneurial approach
  • Manage incoming goods, including receiving, verification, and proper stock placement
  • Organize and optimize stock layouts across all categories while managing outgoing goods (transfers, markdown, etc.)
  • Execute and schedule cycle counts across all merchandise categories, conducting weekly inventory verifications
  • Monitor and resolve negative stock discrepancies on a daily basis
  • Manage Before Sales and After Sales activities, including preparation for atelier shipments
  • Conduct fiscal inventory preparations and executions
  • Maintain knowledge of working platforms (SAP, BOP, etc.) and price management systems
  • Serve as the key point of reference for store stock across all operational functions
  • Report store maintenance needs and provide structured feedback to Store Director
  • Support and actively collaborate with front and back-of-house teams to foster team spirit

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4–6 years of successful experience in retail and/or back-office environments
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong knowledge of retail inventory management and cycle count procedures
  • Demonstrated competency with enterprise software platforms (SAP, BOP, or equivalent)
  • Excellent organisational and priority management skills
