Saint Laurent in Paris seeks a Business Analyst Intern (Finance & Operations) — 6‑month internship starting Sept 2026 supporting BI, reporting and performance analysis.
Role & Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret sales, inventory and orders data to support strategic priorities and retail KPIs (seasonality, sell-through, etc.).
- Maintain and update recurring Finance & Operations reports, proposing and implementing improvements to existing dashboards and templates.
- Validate data consistency across multiple databases to ensure reliability of financial and operational reporting.
- Contribute to cross‑departmental projects, including the development and deployment of new BI tools and dashboards.
- Write and execute SQL queries via the group data hub to extract and transform data for reporting needs.
- Support product master‑data maintenance and optimisation of the product reference catalogue.
- Assist on ongoing analytical projects and take ownership of a defined workstream as the lead for a specific topic.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a higher education programme (engineering school or business school) at master’s level or equivalent.
- Strong numerical aptitude with a pronounced interest in data analysis and reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and demonstrable experience building Power BI reports.
- Working knowledge of SQL and/or DAX is an advantage.
- Good command of English; adaptability, proactivity and strong attention to detail are essential.

Experience
Practical experience through previous internships, academic projects or coursework in reporting, BI or data analysis is expected; demonstrable exposure to building reports or dashboards in Power BI and working with datasets is preferred.
Education
Enrolled in an engineering school or business school (master’s level or equivalent).
