Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Buyer in developing and executing seasonal buying strategies and market-specific assortments that align with the global brand vision.
- Analyze sales performance by category, store and SKU to identify trends, opportunities and actionable recommendations for assortment and pricing.
- Monitor inventory metrics (sell-through, stock-to-sales, inventory turn) and implement replenishment strategies to optimise stock levels and reduce markdown exposure.
- Prepare weekly, seasonal and ad hoc business recaps with clear, data-driven recommendations.
- Liaise with global teams in Paris on product feedback, pricing strategy and regional market needs to ensure alignment between global offer and local demand.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with store leadership to capture qualitative and quantitative customer insights.
- Lead and support in-store product trainings to elevate product knowledge and brand storytelling.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, E‑Commerce, Operations, Visual Merchandising, PR, Supply Chain and Client Services to deliver coherent commercial initiatives.
- Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape and evolving client profiles to inform assortment and merchandising decisions.
- Act as a regional liaison to ensure timely communication between local and global stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3–4 years of buying experience within luxury retail or comparable fashion buying roles.
- Demonstrated retail business acumen and proficiency with retail math (sell-through, stock-to-sales, inventory turn).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for analysis and reporting.
- High aesthetic sensibility and deep passion for luxury fashion and product design.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Strong communication and influencing skills to work effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
- Willingness and availability to travel domestically and internationally (including Paris) as required.
