Saint Laurent seeks Assistant Store Director in São Paulo to partner with Store Director on commercial performance, team leadership, and operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support achievement of sales targets, KPIs, and qualitative objectives while assuming accountability for defined business areas
- Lead by example on the sales floor, driving commercial performance, service excellence, and team engagement
- Execute and support clienteling strategy, including VIP engagement, client development, retention initiatives, and local activations
- Actively monitor and analyze daily and weekly KPIs, identifying opportunities and risks to propose corrective actions
- Lead, train, and develop team members through on-floor coaching, continuous feedback, and training programs to ensure high performance and engagement
- Support performance management processes including goal-setting, recurring feedback, and corrective actions in partnership with the Store Director and HR
- Reinforce and exemplify behavioral, ethical, and professional standards, addressing deviations promptly and escalating when necessary
- Maintain facility excellence in partnership with Store Director, ensuring compliance with presentation, functionality, safety, and brand excellence standards
- Coordinate corrective and preventive maintenance needs, serving as primary liaison with service providers, malls, vendors, and corporate teams
- Supervise merchandise transfers between stores, distribution centers, and inventory movements while reconciling discrepancies
- Ensure operational excellence including floor coverage, visual merchandising, customer service standards, and daily operations
- Serve as trusted continuity of leadership during the Store Director's absence
- Support compliance with company policies, legal requirements, safety standards, and internal controls
Qualifications
- Proven experience in luxury or premium retail with strong sales and customer focus
- Minimum 2–4 years of leadership experience in retail management roles
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities, and drive performance through influence and example
- Strong business acumen with continuous development in KPIs and analytics
- Solid judgment and maturity in people leadership and decision-making
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Dayforce) and expense management tools (e.g., Concur) considered an asset

Minimum 2–4 years of proven leadership experience in retail management, preferably within luxury or premium retail environments with demonstrated track record in commercial performance, team development, and operational execution.
Education
University degree (bachelor's level or equivalent) preferred.
