Saint Laurent seeks an Assistant Store Director in Guadalajara, Mexico to lead retail operations and drive sales performance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support Store Director in achieving sales objectives, KPIs, and qualitative targets by assuming responsibility for assigned business areas
- Monitor and analyze daily and weekly KPIs, identifying risks and opportunities while proposing corrective actions
- Lead by example on the sales floor, driving commercial performance, service excellence, and team engagement
- Support and implement clienteling strategy, including VIC (Very Important Clients) development, customer retention initiatives, and local programs
- Lead, develop, and coach team members through hands-on floor leadership, continuous feedback, and training to drive high performance and engagement
- Support performance management processes including objective setting, periodic feedback, and corrective actions in collaboration with Store Director and HR
- Ensure consistent execution of CRM activities and omnichannel initiatives including events and digital customer follow-up
- Oversee sales floor coverage, visual merchandising standards, customer service excellence, and daily operations
- Guarantee operational excellence in assigned areas including inventory management, back office coordination, and process execution
- Act as continuity of leadership during Store Director's absence
- Support compliance with corporate policies, legal requirements, safety standards, and internal controls
- Identify and escalate potential risks related to people, operations, or customer experience appropriately
Qualifications
- Proven experience in luxury or premium retail with strong commercial orientation and customer focus
- Minimum 2–4 years of leadership experience within the retail sector
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and drive results through influence and leading by example
- Strong commercial vision and analytical capability to interpret and manage KPIs
- Solid judgment and maturity in decision-making and people leadership
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Experience with HR Information Systems (HRIS) such as Dayforce and expense management tools such as Concur considered advantageous

Experience
Minimum 2–4 years of leadership experience in retail, preferably within the luxury or premium segment. Proven track record of leading teams, driving commercial results, and implementing customer-centric strategies.
Education
Bachelor's degree preferred.
