Saint Laurent seeks Area Manager in Shanghai to lead retail operations, manage multi-store teams, and drive performance across luxury boutiques.
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor daily store performance and complete sales reporting to the Retail Director
- Provide regular performance reports to the Retail Director with detailed store analytics and market insights
- Identify and report on market trends to the Retail Director in a timely manner
- Attract, hire, develop, inspire and retain top talent to achieve company-set store goals
- Develop short-term and long-term sales objectives for stores in partnership with the Retail Director
- Coach employee behaviors and maximize sales potential through partnership with the Retail Director
- Hold Store Directors accountable to achieving sales, inventory and KPI targets
- Set clear goals and manage expectations through communication of sales procedures, performance standards, dress codes and company policies
- Maintain cooperative relationships with internal departments (Visual Merchandising, Merchandising) and external landlords
- Motivate and coach teams to achieve ambitious results
- Create consistency amongst stores and align best practices for operational efficiency
- Conduct Customer Relationship Management (CRM) actions and ensure customer service excellence
- Organize and execute CRM events in partnership with the Retail Director and PR department
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 6 years of retail industry experience
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory-level experience with premium brands
- Strong leadership and lateral management skills
- Solid understanding of sales and marketing principles
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM) expertise
- Sales strategies planning to achieve KPI targets
- Advanced numeracy, literacy and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and management capabilities
- Operations management experience

Experience
Minimum 6 years of experience in the retail industry with at least 3 years at supervisory level managing teams within premium or luxury brands. Demonstrated track record of driving sales performance, building high-performing teams, and managing multi-store operations.
Education
Bachelor's degree required.
