Saint Laurent seeks an Architecture Project Manager in Paris to lead complex retail architectural projects and store design initiatives.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and coordinate architectural projects for store openings and renovations in line with project briefs and schedules, liaising with local store planning teams to communicate progress, identify challenges, and propose design solutions
- Cultivate deep knowledge of regional and local market characteristics to inform and adapt architectural proposals accordingly
- Produce 3D modelling and architectural visualizations for project development
- Manage complex, high-visibility strategic projects requiring cross-functional coordination and autonomous decision-making
- Ensure proper documentation and advancement of design project requirements across all project phases
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including architecture firms, artisans, and lighting specialists throughout project lifecycle
- Monitor project development and provide proactive communication to all parties regarding progress and dependencies
Qualifications
- Degree in Architecture
- Minimum 5–7 years of professional experience in architectural design
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp/V-Ray
- Understanding of project management tools and technical coordination methodologies
- Knowledge of complex retail design including flagship stores and iconic concept spaces
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5–7 years of professional experience in architectural design, preferably with exposure to luxury retail or flagship store environments. Demonstrated success managing complex architectural projects from conception through implementation.
Education
Degree in Architecture (Diplôme d'architecte or equivalent).
